Main principles of PSA nitrogen generator operation

In nitrogen generators СКС there are 2 columns with molecular filters for uninterrupted operation of nitrogen generator.
Clear and dry compressed air (with 5-10 bar pressure) penetrate into nitrogen generator through valve. Molecules of oxygen and some other gases are stayed in molecular filter in PSA generator columns. But nitrogen molecules passed through this filter and flow to special receiver. While one column is working, other column is in regeneration. Some quantity of produced nitrogen used for this process of regeneration.
Carbon molecular filter(sieve) is absolutely recovered and it can operate during 40 000 working hours before regeneration. And this period can be more than 60 000 working hoursif you observed requirements for inlet air and periods of technical service.
All operations is controlled by special controller, which provides implementation of all algorithms, purity (concentration) of produced nitrogen, monitoring of all processes and effective using of system resources.
